Thermal Power Plants

These recommendations are based on Chapter 6 of Annex 14 of ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organization) and FAA.

There are special considerations for lighting cooling towers, chimneys and plants. The number of lights per level depends on diameter and height of the structure.

High intensity white flashing lights are used on different levels to mark these structures.

Medium intensity in combination with low intensity are also used where only nighttime marking is required.
